HOW OUR LATEST PRODUCT LEVELED UP TO BETTER SERVE CHARITIES & STREAMERS.

It’s been an exciting few months here at Softgiving as we recently launched two new product offerings known as HERO by Softgiving & EVENTS by Softgiving.

Today, we’d like to walk you through HERO — a 100% free-to-use charity fundraising platform that provides streamers with robust, customizable tools while also providing a new level of transparency and value to charities. Let’s dive in, shall we?

NO FEES, EVER.

100% of what is raised on HERO goes to charity. This is because HERO has no service or platform fees AND we cover the cost of transaction fees via tips (see below for more details on tips).

TRANSPARENCY.

How funds flow

Our process is simple. Donations are raised on HERO. The Givinga Foundation directly receives the funds and remits the donations to the charity. Charities receive donations within 10-30 days based on the charity remittance schedule. Softgiving never touches donations.

Donation Tracking

Upon successful donation, donors receive a receipt with a link to track when their donation is received by the charity.

POWERED BY TIPS.

Donors can leave a voluntary tip with their donation. Tips cover transaction fees, platform maintenance, and customer support.

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE TOOLS.

HERO provides streamers with simple, yet powerful tools, including customizable overlays, alerts, a giveaway tool, and a voting feature all for free, plus an easy-to-use donation dashboard. We’re continuously optimizing the HERO platform and rolling out new features to enhance the charity fundraising experience.
